Our March Work Day is Saturday, March 21, from 9AM to Noon on the Salado Trestle.

Yes, we are proceeding with the work day despite the Corona Virus.  We will be working outside in small groups in the fresh NM air and sunshine.  If you are sick or feel that you may have been exposed to the virus, please do not attend.

What We Will Be Doing: We will be replacing worn out boards and clearing brush at the Salado Canyon Trestle. We will also be placing a sign near the bottom of the new Bridal Veil Trailhead.

What to Bring: Water, gloves and sunscreen.

Where to Meet: Meet at the Salado Canyon/Lower Bridal Veil Trailhead located on Fresnel Canyon Road where the power lines cross the road.

Directions to the Salado Canyon Trailhead from Hwy 82 in High Rolls: 

• Turn north at the High Rolls General Store onto Cherry Blossom Ln for .3 miles
• Turn left at the stop sign onto Cottage Row for .45 miles
• Turn right onto Fresnel Canyon Road and travel 2 miles to Salado Canyon Trailhead
