What We Will Be Doing:  We will be installing two trail signs at either end of the Grandview Loop Trail.

Where to Meet: Lower Grandview Trailhead, across from the Upper Bridal Veil Trailhead.

Directions to the Lower Grandview Trailhead from Alamogordo:

• Drive toward Cloudcroft on Hwy 82
• Turn north (left) at High Rolls General Store on Cherry Blossom for .25 mi
• Turn left at the stop sign onto Cottage Row for .45 mi
• Turn right on Fresnel Canyon Rd
• Go 1 mi to the Trailhead

What We Will Be Doing:  We will be doing some work on the lower end of the Switchback Trail, by the Harkey Pedestrian Bridge.

Directions to the Switchback Trailhead from Alamogordo:

• Take US Hwy 82 from Alamogordo toward Cloudcroft
• Just past mile marker 14, turn left onto Bailey Canyon Rd
• Cross the cattle guard and park

We will be moving our September workday to Saturday, September 23, from 9AM-Noon. This will give us extra time to get the final approval for the sign installation as well as de-conflict with Lumberjack Days. We apologize for any inconvenience.

What We Will Be Doing: We will be installing the Camp Cloudcroft and Baby Sanatorium historical pedestal signs in Cloudcroft, as featured in our Walking Tour Brochure.
