Work Day – August 16

Our August Work Day is this Saturday, August 16, from 9AM to Noon.

What We Will Be Doing:
– Installing commemorative plaques at the Village Spur Trailhead
– Cleaning up around the Devil’s Elbow
– Resealing an observation deck  

Where to Meet: Meet at 9AM at the Village Spur Trailhead, US 82 at Hwy 130 in Cloudcroft (map below).

What to Bring: Water, gloves and sunscreen.

It Will Really Help…if you Sign Up Online so that we can plan accordingly!  

Directions to the Village Spur Trailhead from Alamogordo: Drive East on US 82 from Alamogordo for 16 miles. Just before NM Hwy 130, park in the area on the right.

Our June Work Day is this Saturday, June 21 from 9AM to Noon

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING
– Maintenance along the trails around the Village Spur Trailhead
– Staining a small platform near the Trestle Recreation Area
– Office work: Collating membership invitations, assembling Bigfoot Scavenger Hunt lanyards, etc.

WHEN AND WHERE TO MEET
9AM at Cloudcroft Church of Christ, 40 Swallow Place.

WHAT TO BRING  
Water, gloves and sunscreen. We will provide the tools.

DIRECTIONS TO CLOUDCROFT CHURCH OF CHRIST FROM ALAMOGORDO
– Take US Hwy 82 from Alamogordo to Cloudcroft, about 16 miles
– Turn left on Swallow Pl., on the west end of Cloudcroft High School
– Park at 40 Swallow Place
