What: We will be working at the Trestle Recreation Area clearing the trails and cleaning up the Devil’s Elbow area in preparation for our National Trails Day Poker Hike on June 1.

Where: Meet at the Trestle Recreation Area Depot

We are excited to share a unique opportunity with you for our April work day!  We will be hosting a trail workshop with Lynn Melton and Stephen Carter!

When/What: Saturday, April 20, from 8:30-12 (note the half hour earlier start time from normal!)

8:30  GPS/Mapping Workshop with Lynn Melton

9:00  Trail Design Workshop with Stephen Carter of Eco Servants

9:15  Hike to West end of Salado Canyon Trail

9:45-12  Hands on experience learning to lay out a steep desert trail

Where: Meet at the Salado Canyon Trail Access on Fresnal Canyon Road.

When: Saturday, March 23 from 9-noon

What: We will be working at Bridal Veil Falls.  We will be water sealing the shelter, doing shelter repairs, clearing brush around the shelter, and doing general trail maintenance.

Where: We will be taking the shortcut to Bridal Veil Falls.  This is a new trail that will be open to the public early this summer. Meet at the Harris Hollow Gate.
