Ruminations on Our 30th Anniversary

Milestone anniversaries like this are inevitably accompanied by the refrain “Let’s make it another 30 Years!”
Well, not this time, for this guy. Thirty years is a long time. We’ll need hundreds of volunteers, members and donors in that timeframe. We have big plans over the next few years. And we’re up to the challenge.
But the main problem for me is…in 30 years I’ll be 100 years old. And I’m only good for another 29 years, tops.
Meanwhile, in 2024, the Association is doing well, and we may be launching an actual ad campaign this year, with the financial support of a donor organization that wants to see us grow.
And thanks to past donors, we’ve just ordered 6 benches to place around the Bridal Veil, Salado Canyon and other local trails.
