Work Day – April 4/15/2023

We are having a work day Saturday, April 15, from 9AM-Noon.

What We Will Be Doing: We will continue working on the Salado bridge, focusing on replacing as many deck boards as we can. We will also install the new trail signs at either end of the Grand View Loop if we have enough volunteers.

What to Bring: Water, gloves, and sturdy shoes. We will provide the tools.

Where to Meet: We will meet at the Salado Canyon Trailhead, on Fresnel Canyon Rd.

Directions to the Salado Canyon Trailhead from Highway 82 in High Rolls:

  • Turn north at the High Rolls General Store onto Cherry Blossom Ln for .3 miles
  • Turn left at the stop sign onto Cottage Row for .45 miles
  • Turn right onto Fresnel Canyon Road
  • Travel two miles to Salado Canyon Trailhead, on the right

Work Day – March 3/25/2023

We are having a work day Saturday, March 25, from 9AM-Noon. (Postponed a week from our normal third Saturday due to inclement weather)

What We Will Be Doing: We will be replacing a section of the Salado Creek Bridge and improving the trail around the bridge. We need lots of volunteers! There will be something for everyone to do.

What We Will Be Doing: We will be doing trail maintenance on the Lower Bridal Veil Falls Trail.
