With the weather forecast and prediction of heavy rainfall, we are cancelling our workday tomorrow, 8/20. We hope to get the signs installed over the next few weeks, as weather permits.
Work Day – August 8/20/2022
We are having a work day Saturday, August 20, from 9AM-Noon.
What We Will Be Doing: We will be building a path between the two historic signs across from the Texan Hotel on Burro Ave, using gravel and railroad ties. We will also be installing three more signs in the village.

What to Bring: Water, gloves and sturdy shoes. We will provide the tools.
Where to Meet: Volunteers should meet at the parking lot by the Cloudcroft Church of Christ.
Directions to the Cloudcroft Church of Christ from Alamogordo:
- Travel up US Hwy 82 from Alamogordo to Cloudcroft, about 16 miles
- Turn left on Swallow Place, on the west end of Cloudcroft High School
- Park at 40 Swallow Place

We are having a work day Saturday, July 23, from 9AM-Noon.
What We Will Be Doing: We will be installing 4 new pedestal signs in the village. The good news is that we have a brand new jackhammer to make our volunteers’ lives easier! We’ll also be doing some trail cleanup at the Devil’s Elbow (depending on the number of volunteers).
