Work Day – March – 3/15/2025
We will be having a workday Saturday, March 15, from 9AM-Noon.
What We Will Be Doing: We will begin the development of the last mile of the Salado Trail (T128). There are three trestle ruins along this last leg of trail that will need brushing and paths around them. It is a pretty section of trail with some great views. We will also finish sealing the bridge, weather permitting. If we have enough volunteers, we will install some new directional signs.
Where to Meet: Meet at 9AM at the Salado Canyon Trailhead, at 457 Fresnal Canyon Rd.
What to Bring: Water, gloves, snacks, and sunscreen. We will provide the tools!

- Take US Hwy 82 from Alamogordo toward Cloudcroft
- Turn left on Cherry Blossom Way, just past the General Store
- Drive 0.3 miles and turn left on Cottage Row
- Drive 2.7 miles, to the Salado Canyon Trailhead, on the right

We will be having a workday Saturday, February 15, from 9AM-Noon.
What We Will Be Doing: We will continue water sealing the Salado Canyon Bridge, install some directional signs, and do clean-up underneath the bridge.
