We will be having a workday Saturday, June 15, from 9AM-Noon.

What We Will Be Doing:  We will be installing a bench near the sign at the Bailey Canyon parking area. We’ll also do some general trail maintenance along that portion of the Switchback Trail.

What to Bring: Water, gloves, and sunscreen. We will provide the tools.

Where to Meet: Meet at the Switchback Trailhead in Bailey Canyon, near Mile Marker 14 on US Hwy 82 (see map below)

• Drive east on Hwy 82 toward Cloudcroft
• Turn left onto Bailey Canyon Rd, just past mile marker 14
• Cross the cattle guard and park

What We Will Be Doing:  We will be installing two benches at the Village Spur Trailhead. We will also be working on the little path that goes down to the historical sign near the cement plant and doing some clean-up around the Village Spur Trailhead.

What to Bring: Water, gloves, and sunscreen. We will provide the tools.

Where to Meet: The Village Spur Trailhead parking lot at the intersection of US 82 and NM 130 (see map below)
