It’s almost the third Saturday of the month again… and that means NMRTA workday!
WHAT WE WILL BE DOING: We will be continuing work on the Salado Canyon Trail – clearing, repairing and treating wooden culverts; building water bars and doing general trail improvements. Light to heavy work… something for all. Bring water, gloves, sun protection, sturdy shoes and a jacket (and maybe rain protection – just in case). We had a great workday last month and got a lot of quality work done, but it is a long trail!
WHEN: Saturday February 17, 2018, 9 am… work until noon
WHERE: Salado Canyon Trail Head (T-128) To get there… from the Cherry Festival location in High Rolls, travel North on Fresnel Canyon Rd 2.1 miles to “Where the power lines cross the road.”
NOTES:
- Light to heavy work… something for all skill levels and experience (and lack of experience).
- Tools furnished. Be sure and bring your own drinking water, sun protection, work gloves and study shoes.
- And, bring light rain gear… some possibility of a shower.
