Work Day – October 10/15/2022

We are having a work day Saturday, October 15, from 9AM-Noon.

What We Will Be Doing:  We will be doing brushing and general trail maintenance on the Switchback Trail from Bailey Canyon to the Pedestrian Bridge.

What to Bring: Water, gloves and sturdy shoes. We will provide the tools.

Where to Meet: Volunteers should meet at the Switchback Trailhead on Bailey Canyon Rd.

Directions to the Switchback Trailhead from Alamogordo:

  • Take US Hwy 82 from Alamogordo toward Cloudcroft.
  • Turn left onto Bailey Canyon Rd, just past mile marker 14.
  • Cross the cattle guard and park.
