Volunteer Work Day – September 24th!

What we’ll be doing

This month we’re enjoying Cloudcroft on the Brooks property before the winter months hit us. The retaining wall for the cabin on the Brook’s property has been completed, and it looks really good! Now we need to do backfill behind the wall and add topsoil. We also will be working on the steps and doing some general straightening up. There will be work for everybody. This will be the last workday this year in this locality, so come help finish this off right.

Again, we will have shirts and caps with the NEW NM Rails-to-Trails Association logo on sale when we gather up!

Again, we’ll be walking down to the worksite from the parking area, detailed below.

When & Where for the Work day

Saturday, September 24th, 2016. We’ll meet at 9am and we’ll work until noon.

Driving Directions

Head on up to Cloudcroft as you normally would. We’ll be parking and meeting at the Village Spur Trailhead parking area where Highway 130 intersects with Highway 82. It’s easy to spot there on your right just as you enter Cloudcroft if coming in from High Rolls or Alamogordo.
